About
A specialist practice. Built for this moment.
Taidotech was founded in 2024 — not by retrofitting an AI practice onto a legacy consulting model, but by building one specifically for the current AI environment. Microsoft AI specialisation, regulated industries focus, and a delivery model where the people who scope the work are the people who do it.
Who we are
Deliberately specialist. Deliberately accountable.
Taidotech is an applied AI and automation practice based in Geelong, Victoria. We design, build, and operate AI platforms, business solutions, and process automation for regulated Australian service organisations — aged care, healthcare, NDIS, financial services, education, and government.
We're not a generalist consultancy with an AI division. We're a specialist practice that does one thing well: build governed, practical AI and automation that works in regulated environments. The distinction matters — regulated industries have specific governance requirements, specific regulatory obligations, and specific consequences when technology doesn't perform as expected.
"The people who scope your engagement are the people who build and operate it. No handoff to a junior team after the sale."Taidotech — on how we work
We were founded in 2024 — deliberately, at the start of the current AI era rather than after it. That timing matters. We didn't build a practice around legacy tools and then add AI. We built for AI from day one, with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Speech Services, and the Microsoft AI ecosystem as our foundation.
Our Microsoft AI specialisation isn't a badge — it's the architecture behind everything we build. Sophie, our managed voice + actions platform, runs on Azure Communication Services, Azure Speech Services, and Azure AI Foundry. Our AI + Data practice is built on Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Machine Learning. Our D365 practice connects all of it to the Microsoft business application layer.
The organisations we work with are typically mid-sized to large providers in regulated sectors — organisations that need a technology partner with genuine sector knowledge, not a generic IT vendor. We understand the Aged Care Act 2024, the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements, APRA CPS 230, and the Privacy Act obligations that govern our clients' operations. That knowledge shapes what we build and how we build it.
Our delivery model is managed service — we build, deploy, and operate. We're not a consulting firm that hands over a system and a manual. We run the platforms we sell, which means our commercial success depends on the same thing yours does: the technology working as it should, month after month.
What makes us different
Specialist, not generalist
We work in regulated service environments — aged care, healthcare, NDIS, financial services, education, government. Not because we market to them, but because we understand how they work, what their obligations are, and what governance requirements their technology must meet. That depth is the difference between a solution that looks right and one that holds up under a regulator's scrutiny.
Built for the AI era, not retrofitted to it
Founded in 2024 with a Microsoft AI specialisation — we built our practice for the current environment rather than adapting a legacy model to it. Azure AI Foundry, Azure Speech Services, and the Microsoft AI ecosystem are our foundation, not an add-on. That means our platforms are architected for AI governance from the ground up, not patched to accommodate it.
We operate what we build
The managed service model isn't a commercial preference — it's an accountability choice. When we operate the platforms we sell, our success depends on the same outcome as our clients': technology that works reliably, governed correctly, and improves over time. We don't hand over a system and move on. We stay in it, and we're responsible for what it does.
What we believe
The principles we hold to in every engagement.
These aren't values from a workshop. They're the things we've found to be true from working in regulated service environments — and the things we'll tell a client directly when they apply.
AI reshapes service delivery. It doesn't absorb accountability.
AI will change how work gets done in every regulated service organisation. It will not change who is responsible for the outcomes. That accountability stays with the provider — which is exactly why governance cannot be optional in any AI deployment that affects real people.
Start with the work, not the technology.
The organisations that understand how their own work flows before they automate it consistently get better outcomes. Our UpliftX framework exists because discovery genuinely changes what we recommend — sometimes including recommending against automation entirely.
Governance is a design input, not a compliance layer.
In regulated environments, audit trails, controlled configuration, and deterministic decision-making aren't constraints — they're what makes AI trustworthy enough to deploy. We design governance in from the start. It's not something added after the architecture decisions are made.
Improvement must be governed, never autonomous.
We refine what we build from operational data. Every change is tested in non-production, reviewed, agreed, and deployed through a controlled process. Sophie doesn't self-modify in production. Neither does anything else we build. Ungoverned improvement is not improvement — it's risk.
Honest advice is worth more than a sale.
Our advisory framework leads to a Taidotech engagement where it's genuinely the right fit. Where it's not — where a simpler process, a different tool, or no technology is the right answer — we say so. The clients we've built the strongest relationships with are the ones we told the truth to first.
Australian sovereignty is non-negotiable in regulated industries.
Every Taidotech solution processes and stores data in Azure East Australia. No offshore transfer. This isn't a feature we market — it's a requirement we design to. Patient, participant, client, and resident data carries obligations that don't allow for ambiguity about where it lives.
Technology foundation
Microsoft AI specialisation.
Our technology choices reflect what works best for regulated Australian service environments — proven enterprise infrastructure with strong data sovereignty and the governance controls our clients' obligations require.
Where we are
Geelong. Working across Australia.
Taidotech's office is in Newtown, Geelong — regional Victoria. We work with clients across Australia, but we're deliberate about staying grounded in the operational realities of the organisations we work with. Most of our clients don't sit in CBD towers either.
Engagements are delivered remotely and on-site. Discovery workshops and go-live support benefit from being in the room. Configuration, testing, and managed operations don't require it. We use whichever channel gets the best outcome — not whichever is most convenient for us.
